Do I have to be part of the Selfmade community on circle?
As part of your membership, you are invited to our private, members-only community. We encourage all Selfmade members to participate in conversations there, but it is not mandatory.
Which spaces should I join?
You are able to join whatever spaces you are interested in! All you have to do is click “About Topics” on the left hand side of the page, then click “Click here to view all topics”, and then join away!
One of the easiest ways to connect with people on circle is through joining the “Meet a Member” space. All you have to do is join this space, and then every two weeks the Selfmade Team will pair you with another founder to have a "virtual" coffee chat with.
There is no limit to how many spaces you can join. We want everyone to use the Selfmade Community as a place to further explore your interests, so we do not limit the amount of spaces you can be in. We definitely recommend you add the spaces that your company fits into, but after that you are free to join whatever interests you!
Here’s where you can find a list of all topic spaces.
How do I create a post?
To create a post, all you have to do is navigate to the space that you’d like to create a post in, click “new post” in the top right corner, and then add whatever you’d like to post to the space!
You are able to create as many posts in our Community as you’d like. Most posts contain just text, but you are able to add images and links as well!
How do I find other people in circle?
You can find other people through the members tab located on the top left of the Circle page. In here, you can filter members by location, their role at Selfmade, the spaces they’re in and more!
How do I direct message someone on circle?
In order to direct message someone, all you have to do is click the members tab in the top left corner of the Circle page, find someone you’d like to message, and click the blue message tab in their name and write away!
Pro tip: You can DM multiple people at once!
How do I contact Selfmade Support?
In order to contact Selfmade support, you should reach out to email@example.com via email.
